In our latest effort, we have created the East West Raffles’ Raffle – a brainchild of our chief executive Janet Tan Collis that combines the beauty of art and the soul of humanity. With the privileged support of limited edition artworks by watercolor maestros, Khor Ean Ghee and Ng Woon Lam, the Raffles’ Raffle hopes to raise the awareness and support towards the cause for elderly with these unique series of limited edition prints of five properties of the Raffles Hotel and Resorts around the world that will be sold at $100 each.
There is only a limited print of a total of 6000 tickets, each featuring one of five Raffles Hotels and Resorts properties around the world. Each painting represents the prizes of the draw which includes a pair of Raffles class tickets and accommodation at Raffles Hotel in Beverley Hills, Paris, Dubai, Beijing or Singapore. The draw will be conducted on April 20, 2008 in conjunction with the QEII races to be held at the Singapore Turf Club.
With the growing maturing population around the world, and with Singapore having the fastest growing elderly population in the world, this growth certainly offers untapped opportunities for the hospitality industry to explore new businesses as well as build a corporate culture of corporate social responsibility.
